Trimaris Regalia: Trestle Tables
The trestle tables are meant for Royal presence at wars or tournaments.
Total items per project:
1 or more tables. Maximum of 4 total tables.
- Hardwoods are preferred but pine and plywood may be substituted for either cost or simplicity.
- As these tables will be exposed to the elements, any decorative painting should be done with exterior paints.
Natural finish on wood surfaces.
If Kingdom arms are painted on tables in any way, colors closely matching approved Kingdom colors should be used.
If plywood is used, all plywood should be edged to hide the use of plywood.
If any modern joinery (e.g. metal screws) is used, there should be an attempt to conceal these methods. Period joinery is preferred but not required.
Tables should be able to hold at least 200 pounds and be sturdy enough that people bumping into table will not upset table.
Tables should break down for easy transportation. It should take no more than a minute to either break down or setup a table.
Tables should have several layers of lacquer or other weather proofing finish.
If Kingdom arms are painted on tables, only approved design should be used.
Table top should be 6’ by 30”. Table height should be between 28” to 32” high (measured at the top of tab le top.).
It is preferred that all the tables are made by the same group. However, because this is a larger project, several groups may be involved. If this is the case, the first group will pick an overall design and all other groups will use same blueprint.
